To qualify under the Policy, the requirements are as follows:

Customer must provide written notice within 45 days from point of shipment of product.

Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy (and Phenomenex’s sole and exclusive liability) for an Eligible
Policy
claim is limited to repair, replacement or refund at the sole option of Phenomenex.

Products will not be eligible under the Policy without a prior Return Authorization by Phenomenex.

Products will not be eligible under the Policy in the following situations:

Removal of column end-fittings

Physical damage to the column due to misuse, abuse, or mishap, including mechanical shock

Chemical damage to the packing material due to operation at incorrect chemical conditions,
temperatures, or pressures

Failure due to high backpressures caused by improper solvent or sample filtration practices causing
particulate build-up or precipitation or sample fouling in the column or end-fitting

If, for any reason, it is necessary to return Products to Phenomenex, contact your Technical
Representative for forwarding instructions. This procedure will prevent delays and enable us to resolve the
situation to your satisfaction. Phenomenex is not liable for goods returned without authorization. Returns
must be sent through a traceable carrier.

Bulk, Consignment, Custom ordered products are final sale and not eligible under this Policy.

Please note, Phenomenex reserves the right to refuse or limit quantities to anyone it believes may be
purchasing items for resale. Sales to anyone Phenomenex believes to be a reseller or bulk purchaser are
final, and no exchanges or returns will be granted.
