Fasha Mahjoor is the founder and CEO of Phenomenex, a global leader in the research, development, manufacturing and distribution of leading edge separation science solutions. With over 750 employees and companies in 15 countries, Phenomenex is widely known for its passionate dedication to philanthropy. “We welcome Mr. Mahjoor to this board of talented and respected business leaders who are committed to helping others,” said Red Cross L.A. Region volunteer Board Chair Martin Cozyn, Executive Vice President, Human Resources at Occidental Petroleum. “Working with five local chapter boards - in Long Beach, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Glendale and Antelope Valley - we ensure the Red Cross - is there to assist families and individuals across the region.”
Regional and chapter board members serve as important volunteer leadership partners of the American Red Cross. They help the Red Cross to meet the needs and expectations of the community, while supporting the overall mission of the Red Cross: to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.
